Week 3: Become the One Who Has It
30 minutes of meditation a day, plus board time and acting as if
Here's the idea behind this whole week, and it's the most important idea in the entire program. You don't manifest a new life and then become someone new. You become someone new first, and the new life follows.
Every day this week, spend 5 minutes looking at your vision board, and keep Catch and Re-render running. Starting on Day 17, you'll add one small "act as if" action each day.
Day 15: Identity
Today: about 75 minutes, because you're building a new meditation
Most people try to manifest a new life while holding the old self in place. They want abundance but identify as unlucky. They want love but identify as unlovable. They want health but identify as the sick one.
It's like having your foot on the gas and the brake at the same time. The want reaches forward, the identity pulls back, and the identity almost always wins, because it's the deeper instruction.
Neville Goddard called the fix "living in the end." Don't live as the person hoping to get there. Live as the person who already arrived. Joe Dispenza teaches the same idea in modern language: become your future self before the future shows up.
So today we meet that person.
Build Your Week 3 Meditation
- Go to Create.
- Add a Guided track from Manifesting or Self Love, plus Music Only layers.
- Keep the total around 30 minutes. Crossfade.
- Save Mix as My Week 3 Meditation.
Want the shortcut? Stack your Week 1 and Week 2 favorites together and trim to 30 minutes.
Today's Meditation (30 min)
Play My Week 3 Meditation. Picture your future self walking into the room. The one who already has everything on your board. Notice how they walk, how they hold their shoulders, how their face looks when they're relaxed. Then, slowly, step into their body. Look out through their eyes. Breathe their breath. Stay there.
Your Journal
Who would I have to be to already have everything on my board? How does that person talk, dress, spend their mornings, handle a bad day, and speak about money?
Write it as "I am..." statements. At least ten of them.
Floor Day Version
Write one "I am" statement from your future self. Say it out loud once. Day complete.
[Reflection]
Describe your future self in three words.
Day 16: The Belief Audit
Today: about 70 minutes
Now that you've met your future self, you're going to notice something. There are beliefs inside you that argue with them. Loudly.
"Who do you think you are?" "People like us don't get that." "It's too late for you." "You'll just mess it up."
Those voices aren't your enemy. They're old programs, trying to keep you safe the only way they know how. But they're running outdated software, and today we look at the code.
Remember the chakra questions from the Foundation course? Each energy center asks its own question. Today you use them as a checklist:
- Root: Is it safe for me to have this?
- Sacral: Do I really want this, or do I only think I should?
- Solar Plexus: Will I act on it? Do I believe I can?
- Heart: Can I receive it with gratitude before it arrives?
- Throat: Will I say it out loud?
- Third Eye: Can I see it before it's here?
- Crown: Can I let go of the how?
Today's Meditation (30 min)
Play My Week 3 Meditation. Hold one desire from your board in your mind, and slowly move your attention from the base of your spine up to the top of your head. At each center, ask its question. Notice where your body tightens or says "no." Don't fix it. Just notice.
Your Journal
Take your top desire from the board and answer all seven questions above, honestly. For every "no" or "I'm not sure," write where you think that belief came from. Then write the new belief underneath it.
Floor Day Version
Ask just the root question about one desire. Write down your honest answer. Day complete.
Day 17: Acting As If
Today: about 70 minutes
Remember the pizza joint? Here's how that story ended.
I started applying to the trading companies I dreamed about, but I didn't apply like a guy working at a pizza place. I applied like someone who was already hired. I brushed up on my skills. I watched training videos in the evenings like I needed them for my new job on Monday. A few people thought I was nuts. I didn't care.
The company I wanted most called me. They asked me a few questions about options trading, and I was hired within days. My job was writing documentation for a brand new trading platform. Catered lunches, parties, a team I loved. I still kept a puke bucket under my desk for a while, but I was out of bed and working my dream job.
Remember the thought experiment from the Foundation course? If the person you trust most told you, "Yes, I'll give it to you soon," you wouldn't keep begging. You'd start getting ready. That's acting as if.
Your Act As If Action (starting today, every day)
Every day from now until Day 30, do one small thing the future you would do. Small is the point. Examples:
- Walk into the store where your future self shops and try something on.
- Test drive the car.
- Set the table for two.
- Look at the listings in the neighborhood you're moving to.
- Put a "future savings" line in your budget, even if it's $5.
- Wear the outfit you've been saving for "someday."
- Answer the phone the way someone who's doing great answers the phone.
Today's Meditation (30 min)
Play My Week 3 Meditation. As your future self, walk through the action you're about to take today. Feel how easy and natural it is for them.
Your Journal
Would you rather know the exact date your desire arrives but not how, or know exactly how it arrives but not when?
Then write down the act as if action you did today, and how it felt in your body.
Floor Day Version
Do one tiny act as if thing, even if it's just standing like your future self for 30 seconds. Day complete.
Day 18: The Wish Fulfilled
Today: about 70 minutes
In the Foundation course, you learned the difference between "fake it till you make it" and actually feeling it. If you're faking, some part of you knows you don't have it. The goal is to feel the emotion of already having it.
Gregg Braden describes prayer this way: not asking, but feeling as if the prayer has already been answered. Your heart is the organ that does this work. When you feel real gratitude, your heart rhythm smooths into a steady, coherent pattern that the HeartMath Institute has measured for decades.
Today is all heart.
[Breathing Exercise]
Before your meditation, do 8 rounds: in for 5, out for 5. Hands on your heart.
Today's Meditation (30 min)
Play My Week 3 Meditation. Bring your top desire to mind, but instead of wanting it, thank life for it. "Thank you for my healthy body. Thank you for the money in my account. Thank you for the love in my home." Present tense, like it already happened. If gratitude feels forced, go back to relief from the exhaustion course: "It's handled."
Your Journal
Write a thank you letter from your future self, one year from now, to the universe, to God, or to whatever name feels true. Thank it for everything that rendered, in detail, as if it all already happened.
On CYOM
Go to Circle → Intentions and open the Hall of Manifestation. Read at least five fulfilled intentions from other members and react to them (+1 XP each). Every one of them is proof that this works for real people, just like you.
Floor Day Version
Say "thank you" out loud for one thing on your board as if you already have it. Day complete.
[Reflection]
What is one thing you're thanking life for today, as if it's already here?
Day 19: Studio Day
Today: about 90 minutes, because you're building your own meditation
Today is a big one. You're going to build the meditation you'll use every single day for the rest of this program, and maybe for years after.
Up until now, you've used Create, which stacks tracks one after another. Today you move into the Studio, where you can layer sounds on top of each other, trim them, fade them, and add effects. It's like a music studio built just for meditation.
Before You Build, Answer This
This is the fifth question from our custom meditation form:
Where would you love this meditation to take you? Describe the place and the feeling. Be as descriptive as possible.
Write your answer in your journal first. That's your blueprint.
Build It in the Studio
- Click Studio in the top menu.
- Use the Type and Category filters to find your tracks. Try Guided and Manifesting, Self Love, or Healing, depending on your top desire.
- Drag a guided track onto your first lane. (On a phone or tablet, tap to place it.)
- Drag a music track onto a second lane underneath it, so they play at the same time.
- Add a Sound Effect on a third lane: a chime or singing bowl at the very start and the very end.
- Click a clip to adjust it. Use Fade In at the beginning and Fade Out at the end so it feels smooth. Turn the music down with Gain if it's covering the voice.
- Aim for about 30 minutes.
- Name the project My New Life Meditation and save it.
- Download it as an MP3 so you can play it anywhere. (Heads up: downloads may include a short CYOM audio clip at the beginning or end.)
Don't see a track you wish existed? Send us a note through Messages. Tell us what you're looking for. We read every one of them.
Today's Meditation (30 min)
Play My New Life Meditation for the first time. You made this. Every sound in it was chosen by you, for you.
Your Journal
How did it feel to hear a meditation you built yourself? What would you change next time?
Floor Day Version
Open the Studio and place one track on one lane. Save it. Finish building tomorrow. Day complete.
Day 20: The Power of Words
Today: about 70 minutes
"Death and life are in the power of the tongue." (Proverbs 18:21)
Florence Scovel Shinn taught back in 1925 that your word is like a magic wand. Whatever you speak about yourself, again and again, you're casting.
Listen to how most people talk. "I'm so broke." "My back is killing me." "I'll never find anyone." "Just my luck." They say it as a joke, or as small talk, and they say it dozens of times a day. That's dozens of times a day they're telling their body and their RAS what to look for.
Catch and Re-render has been working on your thoughts for almost three weeks. Today it moves into your mouth.
The Word Audit
All day today, catch every negative thing you say out loud about yourself, your money, your body, or your life. Every time you catch one, stop and re-say it the new way, even mid-sentence. Yes, people might look at you funny. That's okay.
- "I'm broke" becomes "Money's on its way."
- "I'm so tired" becomes "I'm ready for some rest."
- "That always happens to me" becomes "That's not my story anymore."
Today's Meditation (30 min)
Play My New Life Meditation. At the end, say one "I am" statement from Day 15 out loud, slowly, seven times. Feel the sound vibrate in your throat.
Your Journal
What words would my future self stop using? What words would they use instead? Make two columns.
Floor Day Version
Catch one thing you say out loud and re-say it the new way. Day complete.
Day 21: The Halfway Mirror
Today: about 75 minutes
Three weeks! You're past the halfway point, and most people never make it this far in anything. Take a breath and give yourself some credit. Seriously. Put your hand on your chest and say, "I'm proud of you." It feels silly. Do it anyway.
Today you look in the mirror.
Your Journal
Go back to Day 3. Look at the numbers you gave each area of your life: Money, Love, Health, Career, Purpose. Now rate them again, today.
What changed? What didn't? And here's the more important question: did the way you FEEL about each area change, even if the circumstances didn't?
Remember the paper towel roll. You peel off a square and nothing looks different. Peel off twenty and it still looks the same. But every single square came off. If a number didn't move yet, that doesn't mean nothing happened.
Today's Meditation (30 min)
Play My New Life Meditation. Afterward, sit for two extra minutes with your eyes closed and notice how your body feels compared to Day 1.
On CYOM
Go to Circle → Intentions → Active Intentions. Find three people in the community and Add Your Words of Support to their intentions. Lifting others up is one of the fastest ways to raise your own energy. It's belief #6 in action: we are them.
Floor Day Version
Re-rate just one life area and compare it to Day 3. Day complete.
[Reflection]
What is one thing that feels different about you after three weeks?
Coming Up in Week 4
Your meditation grows to 40 minutes, and you take everything you've built out into the world. It's time to walk it into form.
