Part 6: Real Stories, Final Practice, and Course Completion
Part 6: Real Stories, Final Practice, and Course Completion
Here, we share multiple short stories with celebrities, first responders and more people who have used techniques to overcome many different obstacles. As you read, think about what has happened in your own life. Relate it in some way. Try to imagine you are a participant in their story. How did they feel? What emotions were they bringing up? If you were in the same situation, what would you have done? If you feel called, spend some time and look them up for yourself. Build your own knowledge base of facts.
So far, you have have learned that meditation is an ancient inner technology. You can see how how prayer, mantras, breath, silence, sacred sound, chakras, energy work, mystical healing, and modern manifestation all point to the fact that your inner world matters & your mind is way more powerful than most people realize!
After the stories, we will share with you our method of building your own practice of meditation and healthy living.
Ekapol Chantawong: Meditation Under Pressure
In 2018, 12 boys and their soccer coach were trapped inside Thailand’s Tham Luang cave system after monsoon flooding blocked their exit. They were trapped for more than two weeks, and the rescue became a global story.
One of the most powerful parts of the story is that their coach, Ekapol Chantawong, had spent time as a Buddhist monk. Reports described how he helped the boys stay calm through prayer, meditation, and positive focus while they waited in darkness with limited food and rising danger. Time reported that the team used prayer, meditation, and the phrase “su su,” meaning “keep fighting,” to maintain hope before all 13 were rescued.
Inside that cave, meditation was used as survival energy. The boys didn't meditate because life was easy or because they were trying to manifest a lot of money. They meditated because panic would have made everything much worse. Their calm helped them endure long enough for the rescue to reach them.
The Lesson: A trained inner state can help a person stay available to possibility when the outer world looks impossible.
Steve Harvey: From a Car to a Vision Board to an Empire
Before he was the big-smile host of Family Feud, Steve Harvey was sleeping in his car. After his first stand-up set in 1985 paid him fifty dollars, he quit his job as an insurance salesman to chase his dream. He wanted to make people laugh through comedy. The gamble didn't pay off right away. For three years in the late 1980s he was homeless, living in a car and showering at gas stations and swimming facilities. He survived on as little as fifty dollars a week.
Even in his darkest days, he had faith it would turn around. He is a firm believer in vision boards, saying that if you can see it and write it down, it can become a reality. He keeps his vision board with him at all times and even tucks written goals into the hems of his pants so they stay constantly in front of him.
Today, Steve is one of the most recognizable entertainers in the world, and he openly credits his vision boards and mental attitude as the thing that brought him to fame.
Instead of thinking about vision boards as being some type of magic, think of them as a tool to aim your focus and remind you what you are working toward. When quitting seems like the easy thing to do, vision boards will help keep you aligned.
The Lesson: When you keep a vivid, specific image of the life you want where you can see it daily, it steadies you and steers your choices until reality finally catches up to the vision.
Phil Jackson: Stillness as a Competitive Weapon
In 1993, coach Phil Jackson brought in a soft-spoken meditation teacher named George Mumford to work with the Chicago Bulls. It was first packaged as simple "stress reduction," and Mumford's own background included recovering from addiction that followed a career-ending injury. Players sat together in silence and learned to focus on the present moment instead of the noise around them.
The results spoke for themselves. Mumford went on to work with Jackson through six NBA titles, with the Bulls and also with the Lakers. Michael Jordan credited him with transforming his on-court leadership, and Kobe Bryant called him one of the most influential figures in his life.
This is meditation for performance under pressure. The greatest athletes in the world train their bodies. They also train their attention.
The Lesson: A calm, present mind performs better than a frantic one, because creativity and skill flow freely when you are not drowning in fear of the outcome.
Tina Turner: Chanting Her Way Out of a Cage
For sixteen years, Tina Turner lived inside a violently abusive marriage to Ike Turner. In 1974, she was introduced to Nichiren Buddhism and the chant "Nam-myoho-renge-kyo." She began chanting for hours every day, and described the chant as a sound and rhythm that touches a place deep inside you.
The practice didn't change her circumstances overnight, but it changed her mind. She has said that in the hardest times of her life she chanted, and that the answers and the courage she needed began to rise up from deep within her. She left Ike in 1976 and went on to rebuild one of the greatest careers in music history.
Tina's story shows meditation as a source of inner strength. Chanting restored her own access to clarity and courage so she could act.
The Lesson: Before you can change your outer world, you have to reconnect with the strength that was buried inside you all along.
Herbert Benson: Meditation Meets Hard Science
In 1981, Harvard cardiologist Herbert Benson traveled to the Himalayas to test a claim Western science had dismissed as a myth. With the Dalai Lama's blessing, he studied monks trained in a practice called g-tummo, said to let practitioners warm their bodies through concentration alone. Reports claimed they could raise their peripheral body temperature by 16 to 17 degrees while sitting in the snow.
Rather than debunking it, Benson's instruments confirmed it, and his findings were published in the journal Nature in 1982. A second study in 2013 by neuroscientist Maria Kozhevnikov corroborated much of what Benson observed, including the ability to raise body temperature to feverish levels through visualization and specialized breathing.
The monks showed that meditation could directly influence the body. This is measurable physiology.
The Lesson: The line between mind and body is far thinner than most people assume, and a trained mind can produce real, physical change with nothing but thought, focus, and emotion.
Dan Harris: The Panic Attack That Started a Movement
In 2004, ABC News anchor Dan Harris was reading the morning headlines on Good Morning America when something went very wrong. In front of roughly five million viewers, he was hit by a wave of fear, his heart pounding and his breath gone, and he nearly lost the ability to speak on live television.
The breakdown forced him to confront years of anxiety, undiagnosed depression, and self-medicating with drugs. A doctor's questions eventually led him, years later and deeply skeptical, into meditation. He went on to write the bestselling book "10% Happier" to convince other skeptics to try it.
Dan showed meditation as a way back from the edge. The practice gave him a way to manage the voice in his head.
The Lesson: You do not have to be a "spiritual person" to benefit. A trained mind is a practical tool for anyone who has felt out of control.
Training the NAVY SEAL Mind to Survive
Becoming a Navy SEAL means surviving one of the most brutal selection courses on earth, where most candidates wash out. For a long time, the Navy assumed survival came down to raw physical toughness. Then researchers discovered that the difference between who made it and who quit often came down to the mind. When candidates were taught four mental techniques, the SEAL pass rate jumped by more than a third.
Those four techniques, now called the "Big Four," are remarkably close to what this course teaches. They are goal setting, mental rehearsal (visualization), positive self-talk, and arousal control through breathing. The breathing piece is the one you may know as box breathing, a slow, even pattern of inhaling, holding, and exhaling. It is used by SEALs to calm the mind and reduce tension in high-stress situations, countering the body's stress response and bringing on the relaxation response, so the heart slows and the muscles ease.
Remember the amygdala, the brain's alarm, and how it can hijack the reasoning part of your mind under threat. The SEAL techniques work precisely because slow, deliberate breathing helps quiet that alarm and lets the thinking brain bring order back to the chaos. These are some of the toughest warriors in the world, and their secret weapon is deliberately switching their nervous system out of panic and back into control.
The Navy SEALs show meditation and visualization as elite performance tools, not soft or optional ones. Under literal life-or-death pressure, they breathe to calm the body and rehearse success in their minds before it happens.
The Lesson: Calming the nervous system and vividly visualizing the outcome you want, are exactly what the most elite performers on the planet use to do the impossible. Now, take a few minutes, close your eyes, focus and...

Matthieu Ricard: The "Happiest Man in the World"
A French molecular geneticist named Matthieu Ricard walked away from a scientific career decades ago to become a Buddhist monk in the Himalayas. Years later, neuroscientist Richard Davidson wired Ricard's head with 256 sensors at the University of Wisconsin as part of research on advanced meditators.
The results were startling. When meditating on compassion, Ricard's brain produced a level of gamma waves, linked to attention, learning, and memory, that had never been reported before in neuroscience, along with unusual activity in the brain region tied to positive emotion. The media dubbed him the happiest man in the world, a title he gently waves off.
Ricard showed meditation as something that physically reshapes the brain and therefore changes who you are.
The Lesson: Repeated inner practice does not just feel good in the moment, it can rewire the very organ that creates your experience of life.
Calming the Nervous System After War
For many combat veterans, war does not end when they come home. Post-traumatic stress can keep the nervous system locked in survival mode for years. A study published in the journal Military Medicine tested whether meditation could help. It included 41 veterans and 5 active-duty soldiers with clinical levels of PTSD who learned Transcendental Meditation.
The change was dramatic. After one month, 87 percent showed a significant decrease in symptoms, and about 80 percent dropped below the clinical threshold, meaning they were no longer considered to have the disorder. Programs like Operation Warrior Wellness, now offer meditation to veterans as an evidence-based way to relieve symptoms and build resilience.
Meditation is a way to switch the body out of the chronic survival mode of war or anything just as stressful. It turns the volume back down.
The Lesson: You can't build a new life while your body is trapped in fight-or-flight, and meditation is one of the most studied tools for restoring a state of safety.
Jim Carrey: The $10 Million Check He Wrote to Himself
In the early 1990s, Jim Carrey was a broke, struggling comedian who couldn't get the roles he wanted. To cope, he would drive up to Mulholland Drive at night, look out over Los Angeles, and visualize directors he respected wanting to work with him. He later said it made him feel better, telling himself that those things were out there, he just didn't have a hold of them yet.
Then he took it a step by writing himself a check for $10 million marked "for acting services rendered," dated it Thanksgiving 1995, and kept it in his wallet. Just before that Thanksgiving date arrived, he learned he was going to make $10 million on Dumb and Dumber. In a tender footnote, he placed that worn check in his father's casket, because the dream had been theirs together.
The Lesson: When you write your dream down and live as if it is already yours, you give it a clear target to move toward, and you will be amazed at how your focus, your choices, and your life begin to rise to meet it.

Sheryl Crow: A Lifeline Through Breast Cancer
In 2006, a routine mammogram revealed that Grammy-winning singer Sheryl Crow had breast cancer. The diagnosis came during an already painful period in her life, and she responded by making self-care a real priority. Alongside her medical treatment, she leaned heavily on a daily meditation practice.
She has described meditation as a lifeline for a busy, self-critical mind, calling it the tunnel out of harsh self-judgment, and she sits for about twenty minutes in the morning and twenty at night.
The Lesson: When life hands you something frightening, a steady inner practice helps you face it from a calm place instead of a panicked one.
Lady Gaga: Quieting the Pain of Fibromyalgia
Lady Gaga lives with fibromyalgia, a chronic condition that causes widespread pain. She has described it as a cyclone of anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, and panic disorder that sends the nervous system into overdrive and produces nerve pain as a result. It becomes severe enough that she has had to cancel tour dates.
She uses meditation to manage her condition. She states that she can be in a great deal of pain, then meditate, and feel the pain ease.
Is meditation a way to influence the reduction of physical pain throughout the nervous system? Because stress and pain are so tightly linked, can calming the mind lessen the the body's pain signals?
The Lesson: The state of your mind isn't separate from the state of your body, and learning to settle one can genuinely help settle the other.
Selena Gomez: Grounding Through Lupus and Mental Illness
Selena Gomez was diagnosed with lupus, an autoimmune disease, and the journey grew to include a kidney transplant in 2017 along with anxiety, depression, and a later bipolar diagnosis. The chronic stress of managing her physical illness while being famous was deeply intertwined with her mental health struggles.
Her care includes tools like dialectical behavior therapy and she is an active meditator, training her attention to focus on the present moment and reduce stress. She describes grounding herself by naming where she is and what is around her, putting herself back into the present.
Selena Gomez shows meditation and mindfulness as part of a larger toolkit.
The Lesson: Inner meditation practice compliments other therapies that makes the rest of your healing possible.
Hugh Jackman: Calming a Lifetime of Fear
Long before he was a movie star, Hugh Jackman was an anxious kid, with many fears. He was afraid of heights, afraid of the dark, afraid of what people thought, and he hated the prison of all that fear. That anxiety followed him into his high-pressure career as an actor and singer.
He now practices Transcendental Meditation. He states that meditation has helped him drop his anxiety levels considerably and without it, his own mind adds fuel to the fire of fear. He meditates every morning, at lunch, and before big moments like hosting the Oscars.
Hugh Jackman shows meditation as a way to live alongside fear instead of being ruled by it. He still feels nervous sometimes, but is no longer trapped by fear.
The Lesson: A trained mind doesn't always erase the fear but it changes your relationship to it, so the fear stops running the show.
Goldie Hawn: From Panic Attacks to a Life's Mission
Goldie Hawn's anxiety traces back to early childhood. It grew into panic attacks that lasted into young adulthood, and when she became famous at nineteen the attacks intensified even more. She finally sought help and began to meditate.
The practice opened something up in her. She describes meditation as a feeling of a a buried sense of joy that has reconnected to her, as if she had found a piece of herself she thought she had lost. She founded a program, now taught in thousands of schools, to give children the mindfulness tools she wished she had as a girl.
The Lesson: The inner work you do to heal yourself can become the very thing you offer the world. Let's try breathing for a minutes to see that it just takes 1 minutes to start to calm your nerves and settle your spirit...

Arianna Huffington: The Collapse That Rewrote Her Life
In 2007, while building The Huffington Post on eighteen-hour days, Arianna Huffington's body finally gave out. She collapsed from exhaustion, hit her head on her desk, broke her cheekbone, and woke up in a pool of blood. After weeks of medical tests, her diagnosis was Job Burnout.
She treated it as a wake-up call. She went on to write books on thriving and sleep, and founded a company that gives people science-based tools, including short daily meditations, to protect their well-being.
Arianna shows meditation as a corrective measure to a culture of chronic over-achiever syndrome, leading to massive stress. Her body had been stuck in overdrive for years, and meditation became how she returned to balance.
The Lesson: You cannot create a sustainable life while running your nervous system into the ground. Stillness and rest is not laziness. The body needs calm maintenance.
Your Turn
Look back at everyone you just met in the stories above. A soccer team trapped in a flooding cave. The toughest soldiers on earth. A woman chanting her way out of an abusive marriage. Monks who could warm their bodies in the snow. A news anchor who fell apart on live television. A singer facing cancer, an actor facing a lifetime of fear, an executive who collapsed at her own desk. A struggling comedian who wrote himself a check, and another who slept in his car and carried a vision board.
On the surface, these lives couldn't be more different. But underneath, they were all doing the same thing. Each of them learned to take charge of their own inner state instead of letting their circumstances run it for them. They learned to calm their body when panic would have made everything worse. They held a clear picture of where they were going when the outside world said it was impossible. They trained their attention the way an athlete trains a muscle.
Notice what meditation didn't do in any of these stories. Meditation didn't replace the rescue divers, the doctors, the surgeons, the therapists, or the years of hard work. The boys in the cave still needed a rescue team. Sheryl Crow still went to her treatment. Jim Carrey still had to show up and do the work. Meditation was never the magic that did it all by itself. It was, however, the tool to train the steadying force that kept these people clear, calm, and available to possibility long enough for everything to start working in their favor.
And here is the piece that matters most. Not one of these people was born with a quiet mind. None of them were taught about meditation at birth. They all built their practice, one at a time, the same way you are about to. They took their own life circumstances and built around their needs.
The science from people like Herbert Benson and Matthieu Ricard tells us this is not personality or luck. It is trainable. The mind can be shaped, the brain can be changed, and the body follows.
That is the whole promise of this course. You do not have to wait for life to get easier before you feel steady. You can train the steadiness first, and let it change how you meet everything that comes.
So the stories end here, and your practice begins. In the next section, I am going to show you exactly how to start, step by step, so that meditation stops being something other people do and becomes something you do, for the rest of your life.
Designing Your CYOM Lifelong Practice
This is the closing ritual for the whole course. Everything you have learned, grounding, breath, chakras, visualization, gratitude, prayer, surrender, and aligned action, can come together here, depending on your needs, into one practice that is yours. Take your time and work through the sections below. This will help you make a commitment to a personal meditation practice that you can begin right now. It can be a part of you for the rest of your life.
Part 1: Deciding What I Want
Before you build the practice, you have to know what you want. Choose one primary focus for this current season of your life. Don't worry as there is no wrong answer. This is just for your want today. You will always alter your focus as you go through many different seasons in life.
Example: "My focus is becoming calm, healthy, and at peace in my own body."

Part 2: Deciding My Practice
This is your commitment to yourself and to your future, so be honest about what you can actually keep. A small practice you do every single day will always beat a big one you abandon in a week. If five minutes is what you can hold to right now, then choose five minutes. If you have room for more, choose more. Just don't promise yourself something you know you won't follow through with, because a broken commitment only feeds that old feeling of defeat, and that is the very thing you are here to undo.
Before you decide, close your eyes and sit with this meditation below for a few minutes. Ask yourself how much time and what part of the day you are ready to commit. Remember to feel the emotions and be there in the moment.

Your Next Step: A Meditation Made Only for You
You came here carrying something. Let us help you set it down, and pick up the life you have been reaching for instead.
You made it to the end of the course Yay! When you finish the quiz at the bottom, you earn your badge!
Take a big big breath and let it out in a sigh. Smile! We know that finishing this course was not a small thing. You sat with hard ideas. You looked at parts of yourself that most people spend a lifetime avoiding. You read about monks who could warm their bodies in the snow and a man who wrote himself a ten million dollar check before he had ten dollars to his name. You met the science of the placebo, the strange story of Ader's rats, the monks Herbert Benson wired up in the Himalayas, and the research showing your own brain can rewire itself at any age.
And somewhere in all of that, we hope you met yourself.
A Quick Promise from Ryan
Before you close this page and walk back into your ordinary day, I want to sit with you for a few minutes, friend to friend, and talk about what comes next. Not as a company talking to a customer... As two people who have walked through the darkness of life, as all humans do at some point... I found a way out of my hell. You are talking to someone who wants to see you make it through too! My goal in life is to help as many people as I can, learn the value of meditation and I promise you only one thing...
If you jump in with both feet. If you jump off the cliff, into the unknown, and build your parachute on the way down. If you walk straight into the fear and the uncertainty, and you do it with me, and you hold on for at least two years, roughly 720 days, I promise you this... Your life WILL change so completely that the person reading these words today will be unrecognizable to the person you become. Anything is possible. You read my story, so you know I do not say that lightly. I love you. And whether you ever work with me or not, I will help you however I can. If you want to learn how I can help you, keep reading...
Ryan
We know why you are here
Most people do not take a course like this because life is going perfectly.
You might be tired in a way that sleep doesn't fix. You might be carrying a fear you have never said out loud to anyone, or a grief you keep folding up and putting away. You might be experiencing night sweats and change the sheets before your spouse finds out. You might be standing at the edge of a big change and feeling more terror than excitement. You might be sick, or worried, or stuck, or pissed off or just quietly aching for a version of your life that feels more like you and less like survival.
Maybe you cannot even name it. Maybe all you know is that something is off, and you came looking for a door... for a way out... or a way into something better. You know you are here for a reason of some sort and that your current life isn't what you want.
We understand, because we have been exactly there. This whole platform was born in the mind of Ryan, way back before the pandemic, out of a season when he was bedridden, sick in ways the doctors could not explain, down more than eighty pounds, living on a liquid diet, and so afraid that fear itself was eating his body alive. That is not marketing. That is the true story behind CYOM, and it is the reason we built it.
So when we say We See You, we mean it. And when we say there is a way forward, we are not guessing. We lived it. Who is this "We?" This is Ryan and Chris talking - The creators of CYOM.
What this whole course was quietly trying to tell you
Underneath every part you just finished, there was one idea repeating itself in a hundred different voices.
Your inner world is a massive & powerful engine, capable of anything.
You learned that the body cannot tell the difference between a real threat and an imagined one, which means a worried mind can keep your whole system locked in survival for years over things that will never even happen. You learned that the same imagination that traps you is the doorway out, because if a thought can make the body feel unsafe, a thought can also teach it to feel safe again. You learned that you don't manifest a new life and then become someone new. You become someone new first, and the new life follows, every time. You become the new person first, then your life confirms it second.
Here is the part that matters most for what we are about to offer you. Any meaningful thing will change a person ONLY when it's extremely personal. A meditation you listen to on a random video feed is made for everyone so it speaks to everyone in general. However, the words, the imagery, the emotional tone, the intention, all of it works best when it belongs to you and no one else.
This is exactly where we come in.
What we can make for you
We will sit down with your life, your real one, and create a personalized meditation or series of meditations made for you alone.
Picture what that means. Your name, woven gently into the words so the message is not aimed at a crowd but at you. Your exact desire, named out loud, the real one underneath the the thoughts that you may have never mentioned before. The specific emotion you are reaching for, whether that is safety, worthiness, courage, peace, excitement, or absolute joy you had given up on. The chakra you most need to open, mapped to where the work actually lives in your body. Your prayer language if you have one, spoken the way your own tradition speaks it. And none of that language at all if you would rather we leave it out and simply build around your goals and your future self.
We take everything this course taught and we shape it around the one person it was always meant for... YOU! We don't hand you a template with a different name pasted on top. We listen to your story, and then we build a meditation that knows that story. Over time, if you decide to stay and work with us on a deeper level, the meditations turn into the most magical thing you have ever known.
Imagine closing your eyes at the end of a long day and hearing a voice describe, in detail, the life you are becoming, using the words you would use, calling you by name, naming the exact fear you are walking through and the exact strength rising up to meet it. That is not a generic relaxation track. That is a mirror held up to the highest version of you, played back to you until your body starts to believe it.
One meditation, or a whole series. You decide.
Maybe you have one clear desire. What's that One Big Thing that your heart keeps circling back to, every time? We will pour ourselves into that single meditation and make it feel like it was always yours, like it was waiting for you to find it... because in the realm of possibility, that's exactly what happened. You are not here by mistake.
But maybe you are not in a one meditation season. Maybe you are walking through something bigger. A healing. A rebuild after loss. A complete reinvention of who you are. A long road back to your own body. If that's you, we can create an entire series that carries you step by step, the way a good guide walks beside you on a trail instead of pointing at a map and wishing you luck. Whether you need 2 meditations or 36, spanning 3 years, we have you covered.
A series might move through the chakras one at a time, the way you learned in Part 3, Another series might walk you from where you are now to the version of you that exists a year from today. Maybe you need a series of morning, evening, and Workday meditations. Maybe you need breathwork. Maybe you are seeking relief from trauma.
One or many, beginner or experienced, you decide, and we will guide you either way. There is no wrong answer. There is only your next step.
Even if you have no idea where to start...
Please slow down and read this part twice, because it is the thing that stops most people, and it doesn't have to stop you.
You don't need to arrive with a plan. You don't need any perfect words, a polished goal, or a clear vision of the finish line at all! You don't need to have your life figured out before you are allowed to start. If anything, the 'Not Knowing' is the most normal thing in the world.
Remember earlier in Part 6, where the very first step was simply deciding what you want, and we told you there is no wrong answer? Finding your focus is part of the work we do with you. If all you can say right now is "I want to feel safe again," or "I want to stop being so afraid," or "I just want to feel like myself," that is more than enough to begin. That is a seed, and seeds are all we need. We will work with you to find the answers.
You bring your brutal honesty and determination and we bring the rest. We will ask gentle questions. We will help you find the thing your heart has been reaching for the whole time, often without your conscious mind even knowing it. You will not be sitting alone in the dark trying to manufacture clarity but you will have us sitting with you, helping you find it.
How it works
The process is simple, and we hold your hand through every step.
First, we listen. You tell us your story, your desire, your circumstances, your fears, and your hopes, in as much or as little detail as you can manage. Rest assured, we don't share your information with anyone. Period. What you tell us is safe.
If it is easier to talk it through out loud, we can set up a 30-minute one-on-one session designed to help you feel heard, supported, and clearer about what you are going through... Just you and us, no pressure and no performance. Together, we will explore what feels difficult, what you hope to improve.
Second, we create. We take what you have shared and we build your personalized meditation around it, choosing the words, the imagery, the emotional tone, the pacing, and the intention to fit you specifically. During this phase, we sink all of our energy and love into it and it is the part you can't get from a meditation track made for the masses.
Third, we deliver your meditation to you, yours to keep and to return to as many times as you need. The repetition is where the magic lives, because every time you listen, you are rehearsing your new identity until it stops being a visualization and becomes the most natural thing in the world. The way you simply are.
And the whole time, we are here with you. You are not buying a file and disappearing into the void. You are starting a relationship with people who want to see you win.
Need more One-on-One time? That's perfectly ok. We are here for you for as long as you need. Need more than 1 meditation? We will help you create a plan that fits your own life. Simply click on the link below and allow us to care for you.
Who this is for?
This service is for the person who finished this course and felt something stir, even if they cannot explain it.
It's for the one who is ready to stop waiting for life to get easier before they allow themselves to feel steady. It's for the one who is done having their foot on the gas and the brake at the same time. If you are reading this, the universe brought you here so this service is for YOU... I am almost certain that you are tired of trying to manifest a new reality and coming up empty. I would bet that you are finally willing to try something new.
Our services are for the beginners who need a hand to hold. It's also for the experienced practitioner who knows the value of a tool built precisely for them! We work with everyone!
Who is this NOT for?
It's not for the person looking for a magic pill that requires nothing of them. We will be honest with you, because love is honest. A custom meditation is not a spell you buy so the universe does the work while you sit back.
Our services are powerful tools that helps you train your mind to evolve your new identity. In order to become someone new, you have to first become someone new, and we will help but you have to show up. You have to practice. We can't promise to heal you. You heal You. However, we can promise that we will make the showing up easier, warmer, and far more personal than anything you could find anywhere else.
A few real questions you might be asking
We would rather answer your doubts out loud than pretend you don't have any. So here are the honest ones, answered honestly.
"I can already use your free meditations and Blend Your Tracks. Why would I need a custom one?"
You can use our website for free, and we hope you always do, because those tools are yours to keep and they are powerful. Blend Your Tracks lets you create your own meditation by layering the sounds that move you, and the free library is full of beauty. Keep using it... All of it! But a track made for everyone speaks to everyone in general. A meditation built around your name, your exact desire, and your own story speaks to the one person it was made for, which is you. That personal resonance is the difference between a free meditation you like and a complete practice that changes you. The course said it plainly, "The work lands deepest when it's personal."
"I don't even know what I want or where to start."
That is the single most common thing we hear, and it is the reason we exist. You don't have to figure it out alone. Helping you uncover your true focus is part of our service. There is no prerequisite. Come as you are, confused and all, and we will find a way forward with you.
"Isn't this all just Woo Woo?"
From Ryan's Desk... "I had the exact same doubt in the beginning, which is why this entire course was built. I wanted to create something on the idea of Woo Woo meeting science. In the course, you read it for yourself. The placebo effect, proven across hundreds of thousands of trials, where belief alone releases the body's own painkillers. Psychoneuroimmunology, the field that proves the immune system can be trained by nothing more than a simple flavor. You learned about monks raising their body temperature in the snow through nothing than their own thoughts and focus. You read the scientific studies showing meditation changing gene expression and immune markers.
Belief carries a very real, measurable chemistry. A meditation made to deepen your belief is simply working with that chemistry instead of against it. You don't have to take our word for it but I thought it was all pseudoscience too but today I am 100% healed from the brink of death and writing this from my rooftop terrace, overlooking a fairytale cobblestone street, just I like I envisioned all those years ago. Try it, stay the course and watch your own life change. So I say no. it's not 'just' Woo Woo. It is absolute Woo Woo Magic!" - Ryan
"I'm not spiritual or religious enough for this."
The NAVY Seals aren't either and meditation works for them! In the course, you met the toughest soldiers on earth who train their minds with goal setting, visualization, self-talk, and breathing, and the same inner practice holds true for all of them.
If faith is your language, we will speak it with you, in your own tradition. If it is not, we will leave it out entirely and build around your goals, your science, and your future self instead. Your meditation is yours. We meet you where you stand, not where we think you should be standing.
"I've tried things before and given up."
So have I... More times than I can count. Most practices fail you because they ask you to bend yourself to fit them. This one is different. Your meditation is shaped to fit you. Remember what the course said, "A small practice you keep will always beat a big one you abandon in a week."
When your meditation is built around your real life, your real schedule, and the exact thing your heart is reaching for, it stops feeling like one more task on a list you resent and starts feeling like coming home to yourself. If you gave up in the past, it doesn't matter. That doesn't mean you are someone who gives up. Beside, you are getting ready to become a brand new person anyway! The new you is empowered!
"I don't have time."
You don't need hours. The course showed you that a few slow breaths can begin changing your state right now, and that a few honest minutes done daily will outrun a grand practice you never keep. We can build something that fits the life you actually live, five minutes in the morning, a reset at lunch, a wind down before sleep. We design it around your reality.
"Can a recording really feel that personal? Won't it sound generic?"
This is exactly why we don't work from templates. If you want a template, use our create your own meditation for free here. The whole point of a custom meditation is that it is built from your own story, your words, your name, and your desire. Generic is the one thing it can't be, because it would defeat the entire reason it exists. You will see yourself in it. That's the promise.
"What if I'm too skeptical for it to work?"
Then you are in excellent company, because the founder of this platform was so skeptical he called all of this crackpot quackery while lying sick in bed. Skepticism is not a disqualification. It is healthy. You don't have to believe anything in advance. You only have to be willing to try, to play with it, to show up for a few minutes as if it might be true. If you can open your imagination and jump in to the unknown, this is all we ask. The course taught you that the nervous system responds to the rehearsal whether or not your conscious mind has signed off yet. Let your experience be the judge.
"Shouldn't I be able to do this myself?"
You can do a great deal yourself, and we want you to. But there is a reason athletes have coaches, singers have producers, and even the best teachers have teachers. Sometimes the most powerful thing is to let someone who has walked the road, walk with you and help you avoid the mid puddles. I suspect that if you were going to do it yourself, you wouldn't even be reading this right now so when you are ready to walk the road, we will be here... waiting with our arms wide open and sporting a big big smile just for you!
"Isn't this some type of sales gimmick where you sell my info?"
First off, your information is safe with us. We don't sell anything to anyone. Not to advertisers. Not to Corporation. Not to anyone at all. Your information stay on the platform, with our secured payment provider, and with secured Zoom communications.
The HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) is a 1996 United States federal law that establishes national standards to protect the privacy, security, and integrity of patients' confidential health information. We adhere to this since you may disclose information to us about your health circumstances.
We also abide the standards of the The cybersecurity CIA triad (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability). This is the foundational model of information security. It guides organizations in evaluating risks, securing assets, and developing policies to protect critical data against cyber threats and unauthorized access.
Your data is stored on an encrypted infrastructure, along with encrypted backups. Everything in transit is encrypted as well. Your payments run through and encrypted payment provider. Your card details are never stored, and passwords are hashed. Our system keeps your information very safe.
We are not here to "Get Rich." or to sell your data. This is a genuine service born from Ryan's life purpose and you will be working with a small team that appreciates the importance of your privacy. If you use our service and you never tell anyone, we will not either.
"This is all AI. I can just do it myself."
One thing AI will never replace is real live human connection.
Yes, we use AI in our business, because it helps us create more efficiently and bring ideas to life in powerful ways. But AI can't care about you or listen with a compassionate heart, feel tingles while listening, or hold your intention the way a real person can. When you work with us, you are not handing your words to a machine and hoping for the best. You are working with a real human who reads what you share, thinks deeply about your intention, and carefully shapes your meditation with care and human creativity.
AI may help with parts of the creation process, but every custom meditation still takes about an hour of real human time, real human attention, and thoughtful human engineering.
You can do something similar if you wish. It requires multiple paid tools, subscriptions, connected systems, troubleshooting code, cybersecurity frameworks, and technical setup. We created this service so you do not have to figure all of that out alone. Our goal is to use technology where it helps, while keeping the human connection at the center of everything we create.
"It's too expensive. I don't have the money."
We understand your hesitation. Money is real, and we never want anyone to feel pressured into something they are not ready for.
At the same time, when someone feels ready to change their life... really ready, they often begin looking at money differently. Not with shame, but with intention. Sometimes the question becomes, “What have I already spent money on that hasn't helped me heal, grow, or move forward?”
That said, we don't believe the real issue is the price. Often, the deeper question is trust. We have earned your trust yet.
Allow us to work with you, listen to your story, and create something meaningful for you. If you are not satisfied, we will do our best to make it right.
Our goal is not to take your money. Our goal is to help you feel supported, understood, and proud of the decision you made while being compensated for the work we put in at the same time - A WIn-Win situation.
"Is there a Money Back Guarantee?"
We have a solid 7 day Money Back Guarantee, after we hand you your meditation. Try it out for 7 days. If you are not satisfied with our services, we will give your money back.
Even if we didn't refund your money, you can dispute the transaction with our payment provider. When a customer disputes a charge, the payment provider acts as a mediator. The system immediately debits the disputed amount from our account and a dispute fee from our balance, while the actual decision is made.
So I assure you there is literally, no risk, if you are not satisfied.
We have walked this road before...
Every CYOM Team member has walked this road before. We didn't find all of this while sitting in a comfortable chair.
"There was a year of being bedridden, of pushing my puke bucket away because the smell was too much, of asking a wife to do the things a grown adult should be able to do alone. There was a savings account drained to zero by treatments that didn't work. There was real anger, at the world, at the body, even at God. And then there was a short, desperate prayer on a balcony, a strange meditation video that almost got turned off, and forty five minutes when my pain simply vanished for the first time in over a year.
There was a felt tip pen imagined into being and delivered by mail three days later by a wife who had no idea. A dream job that arrived after acting as if it were already mine. Checks that came out of nowhere at the exact moment they were needed. A thirty second experience while meditating, that ended years of suffering. And eventually, a dream home, exactly as it had been pictured years before." - Ryan
We really want you to understand who is on the other side of this offer. Not a faceless brand. Two people who know the bottom intimately, and know the climb back out even better. That is why we treat your meditation as something sacred, and never as something off an assembly line. When we build for you, we are building the kind of thing we wish someone had built for us in our darkest year.

That person you became in the meditation is not a fantasy. That person is trainable, the science says so, and that person is reachable from exactly where you sit right now. What if that meditation was created with your own information, geared toward your own life? The most direct way to get to where you want to be is to rehearse your way into being as if you already have the thing you want... Day by day, until the mental and emotional rehearsal manifests in your 3D reality.
Your next step
When you are ready, head to the Services page.
You can request your custom personalized meditation, one piece or a full series, and we will begin building it around your life. Or, if you would rather talk it through with us first, book a one-on-one session and we will meet you there, listen to your story, and help you find your focus before a single word is written. Either path is the right one.
Remember, You are not walking through this alone. We are here for you. We really are!
With all our love,
Ryan and Chris Ann
P.S. If you read this whole letter and felt your chest tighten or your eyes sting at any point, that was not an accident. That was the part of you that already knows it is time. Listen to it. It has been right all along.
