Part 3: Chakras, Kundalini, Energy, and the Body
Part 3: Chakras, Kundalini, Energy, and the Body
The Body as a Manifestation Instrument
Part 3 moves from history into the body.
If Part 1 taught that meditation changes the inner state, and Part 2 showed that humans have always searched for hidden spiritual power, Part 3 asks a deeper question: What if the body itself is a map?
In chakra traditions, the body is not treated as a machine made of separate parts. It is treated as a living field of energy, emotion, intuition, and spiritual connection. The physical body matters, but so does the energetic body. The nervous system matters, but so does the energy field that's produced by the heart. Hormones matter, but so do emotions. Words matter and they have power, but so does sitting in silence.
In modern manifestation language, the body is where your beliefs become familiar. You might say, “I am abundant,” but if your body feels unsafe, the root energy will contract and you won't actually feel abundant. You might say, “I am powerful,” but if the solar plexus is carrying shame, acting on the power will be difficult. What is you say, “I am loved,” but you have put up a brick wall around your heart? Do you think receiving love might feel threatening?
Chakra meditations help you bring the desired reality into the whole body, not just the mind. Listen to the following meditation, 'How to Hal Your Body' as you study this section and learn about each chakra. At the end, sit down in a comfortable position and listen to the meditation again, with intent and with your eyes closed.

How to Heal your Body - The Seven-Point Alignment

What Chakras Are
The word chakra is usually translated as “wheel” or “disk.” In Hindu and Buddhist Tantric traditions, chakras are understood as subtle energy centers. Chakras are a part of a spiritual map involving energy, consciousness, the body, breath, mantra, liberation, and awakening. In the CYOM community, chakras are treated as focal points where energy, psychic forces and bodily functions merge and interact, with six major centers along the spine and one at the top of your head.
The modern seven to eight chakra system many people know today is influenced by older traditions, modern psychology, and the current wellness culture. It's just a guide so don't get caught up in the arguments about whiter there are seven, eight, or 146. Just know there are many areas on the body where energy gathers and releases.
You will learn how to focus your attention on these chakras to help with healing from the inside out. We teach chakras in three ways at once.
- They are spiritual energy centers.
- They are emotional and symbolic centers.
- They are manifestation gateways.
Chakras and the Endocrine System
The seven chakras are aligned in the body with your endocrine system. The endocrine system is the body’s hormone system. The National Cancer Institute defines it as the glands and organs that make hormones and release them into the blood, helping control functions such as growth, development, metabolism, and reproduction.
The endocrine glands are physical organs. The Chakras hold energy. They are not the same thing but one influences the other. The endocrine system gives your body a biological hormone map, while the chakra system gives you an energetic map. When we place them side by side and focus on them, they become intertwined. You will learn about the quantum physics aspect of entanglement later but just note, when you focus your energy on a chakra, you are also focusing on that particular endocrine gland.

The Seven Chakras in Detail
Root Chakra: Safety, Survival, and the Right to Exist
The root chakra is traditionally called Muladhara. The name doesn't matter. You can call it your Sexual Energy Center if you like. It is at the base of the spine and connected with survival, grounding, safety, family, money, and physical existence.
The root chakra is linked with the adrenal glands. The adrenal glands sit above the kidneys and are involved in stress-related hormones, including cortisol and adrenaline.
This is why the root chakra is so important for manifestation. A person cannot easily receive a bigger life if the body believes it is unsafe, all jacked up with cortisol.
If you grew up with instability, poverty, fear, abandonment, violence, or constant uncertainty, then your root energy may be filled with only survival instincts. You desire abundance, but your body may expect loss. You may want peace, but your nervous system may scan for danger. You may want a beautiful home, but feel guilty about having one.
Root chakra manifestation work begins by teaching the body that safety is allowed.
A strong root does means you can begin to feel the emotions of safety, “I can be here. I can belong. I can build. I can receive. I can stand on the earth without apologizing.”
Root Chakra Practice: Ground Before You Manifest
The goal here is not to think your way into safety. The goal is to let the body feel it, even for a few seconds, so the nervous system learns that safety is a place it is allowed to live. Don't force it. Simply focus on it.
Find a quiet place to s sit or lie down. Let your feet, your seat, or your back make contact with something solid. The earth, the floor, the chair. Feel where your body is held. Then move through these steps slowly.
Step 1. Land in the body.
Take three slow breaths. On each exhale, let your weight drop a little lower, like you are sinking roots through the base of your spine into the ground. Don't rush.
Step 2. Bring your attention to the base of the spine.
Place a hand low on your belly or at the base of your back if it helps you locate the area. Imagine a warm, steady, deep red light glowing there.
Step 3. Notice the old story without judging it.
If fear, tightness, or "I am not safe" shows up, don't fight it. Just notice it. Say silently, "I see you. You kept me alive. Thank you. I love you. I am safe now, and I'm allowed to settle down."
Step 4. Breathe into the red light and think the new thoughts.
As you breathe slowly into your base, let one of these thoughts arise on each exhale. Don't say them like a slogan. Say them slow enough that the body has time to feel even a flicker of the truth in them.
- I'm safe in this moment.
- There is nothing to fear.
- I have enough right now. Right now, I am okay.
- I belong here. I am allowed to take up space.
- I'm allowed to build a beautiful life and keep it.
- Abundance is safe for me. Receiving is safe for me.
- I can stand on the earth without apologizing for being here.
Step 5. Feel the body, not just the words.
After each thought, pause and ask, "Where do I feel that?" Maybe your shoulders drop. Maybe your jaw softens. Maybe nothing yet. That is fine. Every time the body relaxes even slightly while thinking a safe thought, the root is learning. That small relaxation is the actual work.
Step 6. Anchor it.
Before you finish, take one full breath and say, "I'm building from a safe and solid foundation." Then carry that grounded feeling into your day. The more often you do this, the more your body normalizes safety. The more you feel safety, the more your body is in alignment with the frequency of healing and abundance.

Sacral Chakra: Desire, Emotion, Pleasure, and Creative Flow
The sacral chakra is traditionally called Svadhisthana. Again, the name doesn't matter. You can call it your Creative Flow Center if you like. It sits in the lower abdomen, just below the navel, and is connected with emotion, creativity, pleasure, sexuality, relationships, water, and flow.
The sacral chakra is often linked with the reproductive glands, the ovaries or testes. These glands release hormones into the bloodstream as part of the endocrine system, which is why this connection is used symbolically to talk about creation, desire, sensuality, and life force.
This is why the sacral chakra matters so much for manifestation. You can't easily pull a bigger, richer life toward you if you feel numb to what lights you up, or ashamed of wanting it in the first place.
- The root asks, "Is it safe to have it?"
- The sacral asks, "Do I actually want it?"
If you grew up being told that wanting was selfish, that pleasure was dangerous, that your emotions were too much, or that you had to shrink your desires to keep the peace, then your sacral energy may feel shut down. You may want something deeply, but feel guilty the moment you admit it. You may want to create, but feel dry and blocked. You may want joy, but flinch when it shows up, like it's about to be taken away.
Sacral chakra manifestation work begins by teaching the body that desire is allowed, and that it's safe to feel again.
A strong sacral center means you can begin to feel the aliveness of wanting without shame. "I can want. I can feel. I can create. I can receive pleasure. I can let myself enjoy being alive."
Sacral Chakra Practice: Let Your Desire Move
The goal here is to let the body feel ultimate desire and flow, even for a few seconds, so your nervous system learns that wanting is safe and pleasure is allowed.
Find a comfortable place to sit or stand. Rest your hands on your lower abdomen, just below the navel. Take a slow breath and let your lower belly soften. Then move through these steps slowly.
Step 1. Soften into the body. Take three slow breaths. On each exhale, let the muscles in your lower belly, hips, and lower back release a little more. Don't hold yourself stiff. Let yourself settle.
Step 2. Bring your attention to about 2 inches below your navel. Keep your hands resting low on your abdomen so it's easy to locate the area. You can even use your finger to push in a bit, if it helps. Imagine a warm, glowing orange light there, soft and alive, like a small flame that wants to grow.
Step 3. Notice the old story without judging it. If shame, guilt, or "I shouldn't want this" shows up, don't fight it. Just notice it. Say silently, "I see you. You were trying to keep me from getting hurt. Thank you. I love you. It's safe to want now, and I'm allowed to feel."
Step 4. Breathe into the orange light and think new thoughts. As you breathe slowly into your lower belly, let one of these thoughts arise on each exhale. Don't recite them like a slogan. Say them slow enough that the body has time to feel some truth in them.
- I'm allowed to want what I want.
- My desire is good information, not something to hide.
- I can feel my emotions without drowning in them.
- Pleasure is safe for me. Joy is safe for me.
- I'm allowed to create, to play, and to enjoy being alive.
- I can receive love, beauty, and good things without guilt.
- I let life move through me, and I let myself move with it.
Step 5. Feel the body, not just the words. After each thought, pause and ask, "Where do I feel that?" Maybe your belly warms. Maybe your hips loosen. Maybe a small smile shows up. Maybe nothing yet. That's fine. Every time the body opens even slightly while thinking a permitting thought, the sacral is learning. That small softening is the actual work.
Step 6. Anchor it. Before you finish, take one full breath and say, "I'm allowed to want, to feel, and to create." If it feels natural, gently sway for a few seconds and let your body move without trying to look graceful. Then carry that flowing, open feeling into your day. The more often you do this, the more your body normalizes desire and pleasure. The more you feel that flow, the more your body comes into alignment with the frequency of creativity and abundance.
Solar Plexus Chakra: Power, Confidence, and Aligned Action
The solar plexus chakra is traditionally called Manipura. Maybe this one you can call your Inner Fire Center if you like. It sits in the upper abdomen, just above the navel where your stomach is, and is connected with willpower, identity, confidence, discipline, courage, digestion, and personal fire.
The solar plexus chakra is linked with the pancreas. The pancreas releases insulin and glucagon, hormones that help regulate blood sugar, which is why this connection is used symbolically to talk about how you digest life and turn fuel into energy and action.
This is why the solar plexus matters so much for manifestation. A vision that never leaves your imagination can't become a life.
- The root asks, "Is it safe?"
- The sacral asks, "Do I want it?"
- The solar plexus asks, "Will I act on it? Do I believe I can?"
If you grew up being criticized for trying new things, punished for asking questions, taught that confidence was arrogance, or made to feel powerless over your own life, then your solar plexus energy may feel weak. You may want something badly, but procrastinate the moment it's time to move. You may have a clear vision, but hide, shrink, or wait for permission. You may start strong, but quit early the second it gets uncomfortable.
Solar plexus manifestation work begins by teaching the body that your power is allowed, and that it's safe to act on your own behalf.
A strong solar plexus center means you can begin to feel healthy personal power over your own life without shame. "I choose what I want, when I want. I act on my desires without hesitation. I can take up space for myself anytime. I always follow through. I am becoming who I'm meant to be."
Solar Plexus Practice: Ignite the Inner Yes
The goal here is to your body feel its own power, even for a few seconds, so your nervous system learns that taking action is safe.
Find a place to sit up straight and proud. Rest one hand on your upper belly, just above the navel. Take a slow breath and let your spine lengthen, like a small flame rising. Then move through these steps slowly.
Step 1. Sit into your center. Take three slow breaths. On each exhale, let your shoulders relax while your spine stays tall, so you feel grounded and upright at the same time.
Step 2. Bring your attention to your stomach area. Keep your hand resting on your upper belly so it's easy to locate the area. Imagine a warm, golden light glowing there, steady and bright, like a small sun swirling in your core.
Step 3. Notice the old story without judging it. If fear, doubt, or "I'll fail" shows up, don't fight it. Just notice it. Say silently, "I see you. You were trying to protect me from disappointment. Thank you. I love you. It's safe to act now, and I'm allowed to try."
Step 4. Breathe into the golden light and think new thoughts. As you breathe slowly into your upper belly, let one of these thoughts arise on each exhale. Don't recite them like a slogan. Say them slow enough that the body has time to feel even a flicker of truth in them.
- I'm allowed to choose my ideal life for myself.
- I don't wait for perfect confidence. I act and then confidence follows.
- I'm allowed to take up space for myself.
- I always follow through on what matters to me.
- My efforts count, even the small ones.
- I'm capable, and I'm allowed to become more.
- I have the power to move my life forward.
Step 5. Feel the body, not just the words. After each thought, pause and ask, "Where do I feel that?" Maybe your chest lifts. Maybe your core feels warmer. Maybe you sit a little taller. Maybe nothing yet. That's fine. Every time the body straightens or steadies even slightly while thinking an empowering thought, the solar plexus is learning. That small lift is the actual work.
Step 6. Anchor it. Before you finish, think of one desire you've been postponing and ask, "What's one small step that would prove I believe in this?" Don't choose a huge action. Choose one small, doable step. Take a big breath and say, "I am acting from a frequency of expectancy." Then write the step down and carry that grounded fire into your day. The more often you do this, the more your body normalizes expectancy and worthiness. The more you feel that steady power, the more your body comes into alignment with the frequency of abundant expectancy.

Heart Chakra: Love, Gratitude, Receiving, and Coherence
The heart chakra is traditionally called Anahata. Maybe you can call it your Center of Love. Maybe you can call it 'Sally The Lover' or 'Bob the Healer' to make it personal. It sits in the center of your chest and is connected with love, compassion, forgiveness, grief, relationships, devotion, beauty, and balance.
The heart chakra is linked with the thymus. The thymus sits in the upper chest and produces white blood cells that help the immune system fight infection, especially earlier in life, which is why this connection is used symbolically to talk about protection, openness, and the heart's role at the center of the body.
This is why the heart chakra may be the most important center of all for manifestation. The mind decides what you want, but the heart is where the life you want becomes emotionally magnetic.
- The root asks, "Is it safe?"
- The sacral asks, "Do I want it?"
- The solar plexus asks, "Will I act on it?"
- The heart asks, "Can I receive it, feeling grateful before the proof arrives?"
If you grew up where love came with conditions, where receiving felt unsafe, where you learned to brace for a loss, or where forgiveness felt impossible, then your heart energy may feel guarded or closed off. It may seem like you want connection, but keep people at a distance at the same time. You may "say" you want good things, but then when good things come to you, excuses fill your head about why you are unworthy. You may want to trust life, but quietly expect to be let down.
Heart-centered manifestation is different from desperate wanting. Desperate wanting says, "I don't have it." Heart gratitude says, "I'm already in relationship with it." This kinda seems like pretending at first and that's ok. You are practicing the emotional feeling of receiving, on purpose, before the evidence shows up. This is close to what Gregg Braden describes as feeling the prayer as already answered, and what Neville Goddard called living in the feeling of the wish fulfilled.
In some circles, it's called, 'Fake it till you make it. However, if you think you are faking it, then you feel like you don't already have it. In order to receive, you should already feel the emotion of having it, instead of 'faking it.'
Heart chakra manifestation work begins by teaching the body that it's safe to open, safe to receive with joy, and feeling grateful BEFORE you have proof.
A strong heart center means you can begin to feel love and gratitude as a steady state now... Not a reward later. "I give to others because I am abundant. I freely receive with a smile and say Thank you! I forgive myself. I trust that life brings good things my way, always. I'm grateful for what's already here and what's on the way."
Heart Chakra Practice: Gratitude Before Evidence
The goal here is to teach your body to actually feel gratitude and openness, even for a few seconds, so your nervous system learns what joyful receiving feels like.
Find a comfortable place to sit. Rest both hands over the center of your chest. Take a slow breath and let your chest soften under your hands. Then move through these steps slowly.
Step 1. Settle into the chest. Take three slow breaths. On each exhale, let the muscles around your chest, shoulders, and upper back release a little more. Don't hold yourself tight. Let your heart area feel a little more open with each breath.
Step 2. Bring your attention to the center of your chest. Keep both hands resting there so it's easy to locate the area. Imagine a warm green light glowing in your chest, soft and steady, growing a little brighter with each breath.
Step 3. Notice the old story without judging it. If grief, guarding, or "it doesn't feel right to want this" shows up, don't fight it. Just notice it. Say silently, "I see you. You were trying to protect me from being hurt. Thank you. I love you. It's safe to open now, and I'm allowed to receive."
Step 4. Breathe into the green light and think new thoughts. First, bring to mind something small you're genuinely grateful for right now, and let that feeling become real before you continue. Then let one of these thoughts arise on each exhale. Don't recite them like a slogan. Say them slow enough that the body has time to feel even a flicker of truth in them.
- I'm thankful for what's already here.
- I'm open to give and to receive.
- I can let good things in without bracing for a loss.
- I forgive, and I let my heart feel lighter.
- I trust that the path is already opening.
- I'm already in relationship with what I desire.
- Love is safe for me. Receiving is safe for me.
Step 5. Feel the body, not just the words. After each thought, pause and ask, "Where do I feel that?" Maybe your chest feels warm. Maybe your breathing slows. Maybe your eyes soften or well up a little. Maybe nothing yet. That's fine. Every time the chest opens or warms even slightly while thinking a grateful thought, the heart is learning. That small opening is the actual work.
Step 6. Anchor it. Before you finish, bring your desire gently to mind, not from lack, but as if you're quietly thanking life because the path is already opening. Take one full breath and say softly, "Thank you. I'm open to give and receive." Then carry that warm, open feeling into your day. The more often you do this, the more your body normalizes receiving. The more you feel that gratitude, the more your body comes into alignment with the frequency of love and abundance.

Throat Chakra: Voice, Truth, Sound, and the Spoken Word
The throat chakra is traditionally called Vishuddha. Many people call it their Center of Truth. It sits at the throat and is connected with speech, truth, sound, purification, communication, expression, and vibration.
The throat chakra is linked with the thyroid and parathyroid glands. The thyroid sits at the front of the neck and plays a key role in metabolism, while the parathyroid glands help regulate calcium balance, which is why this connection is used symbolically to talk about voice, expression, and the energy you put into the world.
This is also why the throat chakra matters so much for manifestation. Words are powerful and they create patterns. They shape your attention, your emotions, and the identity you keep declaring about yourself.
- The root asks, "Is it safe?"
- The sacral asks, "Do I want it?"
- The solar plexus asks, "Will I act?"
- The heart asks, "Can I receive it?"
- The throat asks, "Will I speak the truth?"
If you grew up being told to be quiet, punished for speaking your truth, taught that your voice didn't matter, or shamed for asking for what you needed, then your throat energy may feel blocked. You may stay silent when you have something to say. You may people-please instead of being honest. You may talk constantly but rarely tell the honest truth. You may be afraid to ask for what you actually want for fear of being ridiculed.
Throat chakra manifestation work begins by teaching the body that your voice is allowed to speak the truth out loud, no matter what. This doesn't mean every sentence you say magically appears in the physical world right now. However, it does mean that your words train your mind and body to organize your attention and energy around the reality you're becoming. THEN many of your words will manifest into your reality. Ancient traditions knew this, which is why the Vedic world used mantra, why mystics used sacred words, and why modern manifestation uses affirmations and spoken intention.
A strong throat center means you can begin to speak with clarity and creative authority. "I speak words into existence. I ask for what I want. I tell the truth. I am heard. I declare who I am before others can see the new me."
Throat Chakra Practice: Speak the New Reality
The goal here is not to force big declarations. The goal is to let the body feel what it's like to speak your truth safely, even for a few seconds, so your nervous system learns that your voice is allowed. Don't force it. Simply focus on it.
Find a comfortable place to sit. Rest one hand at your throat and one hand over your heart. Take a slow breath and let your throat and jaw relax. Then move through these steps slowly.
Step 1. Soften the throat. Take three slow breaths. On each exhale, let your jaw, tongue, and the muscles around your throat release a little more. Don't clench. Let your throat feel open and easy.
Step 2. Bring your attention to the throat. Keep one hand resting there so it's easy to locate the area. Imagine a soft blue light glowing at your throat, calm and clear, like light moving through water.
Step 3. Notice the old story without judging it. If fear, tightness, or "it's not safe to speak" shows up, don't fight it. Just notice it. Say silently, "I see you. You were trying to keep me from getting in trouble. Thank you. I love you. It's safe to speak now, and my voice is allowed."
Step 4. Tell one truth, then declare one reality. First, gently finish this sentence, out loud or in a whisper: "What I've been afraid to say is..." Let it be honest. Then choose one simple, aligned declaration and say it seven times slowly, letting the sound vibrate in your throat. Pick one of these or write your own.
- I'm safe to be seen.
- My voice creates with love.
- I speak from the reality I'm becoming.
- I no longer rehearse the old story.
- I'm allowed to ask for what I want.
- My words shape my world.
- I tell the truth, and the truth sets me free.
Step 5. Feel the body, not just the words. After speaking, pause and ask, "Where do I feel that?" Maybe your throat feels looser. Maybe your jaw unclenches. Maybe your chest feels lighter after telling the truth. Maybe nothing yet. That's fine. Every time the throat opens even slightly while you speak an honest or aligned word, the throat chakra is learning. That small release is the actual work.
Step 6. Anchor it. Before you finish, take one full breath and say, "My voice creates with love." Then carry that clear, open feeling into your day. The more often you do this, the more your body normalizes speaking your truth. The more you feel that clarity, the more your body comes into alignment with the frequency of expression and abundance.
Third Eye Chakra: Imagination, Intuition, Vision, and Inner Seeing
The third eye chakra is traditionally called Ajna. It's your Inner Vision Center and sits in your forehead, between and slightly above your eyebrows. It's connected with intuition, imagination, insight, perception, dreams, symbols, and inner sight.
The third eye chakra is linked with the pituitary gland. The pituitary is sometimes called the "master gland" because it helps regulate many other endocrine glands, including the thyroid, adrenal glands, ovaries, and testes, which is why this connection is used to talk about inner guidance and the part of you that directs the rest.
This is why the third eye matters so much for manifestation. Imagination is the workshop where everything is created, first.
- The root asks, "Is it safe?"
- The sacral asks, "Do I want it?"
- The solar plexus asks, "Will I act?"
- The heart asks, "Can I receive it?"
- The throat asks, "Will I speak it?"
- The third eye asks, "Can I see it before it's here?"
If you grew up being told your imagination was a waste of time, that daydreaming was foolish, that your intuition was wrong, or that you should only trust what you can physically prove, then your third eye energy may feel shut down. You may struggle to picture a better future. You may dismiss your gut feelings. You may want to believe in what's possible, but only trust what's already in front of you.
Third eye manifestation work begins by teaching the mind that imagination is real work, and that it's safe to trust your inner insight, your intuition. Before a house is built, someone sees it inwardly. Before a business exists, someone imagines it. Before someone heals from a disease, they see the possibility of it. This is why Neville Goddard taught imagination so strongly, why athletes rehearse performance in their minds, and why guided visualization + emotion can be so powerful. The third eye sees the reality before the physical senses confirm it.
A strong third eye means you easily picture and trust the life you're choosing. "I see it brightly! I imagine it clearly. I trust my intuition. I always rehearse my reality before it arrives."
Third Eye Practice: See the Scene
The goal here is to let the mind and body feel one vivid scene of your desire as if its already real (because it is), even for a few seconds, so your nervous system starts treating it as familiar.
Find a quiet place to sit and close your eyes. Let your face and forehead relax. Take a slow breath and bring your attention to the space between your eyebrows. Then move through these steps slowly.
Step 1. Settle behind the eyes. Take three slow breaths. On each exhale, let the muscles around your eyes, forehead, and temples release a little more. Don't strain to see anything. Let your inner vision feel easy.
Step 2. Bring your attention to the area between and just above your eyebrows. Imagine a deep indigo light glowing gently inside your forehead, calm and quiet, like the sky just after sunset. You can tilt your eyes slightly upwards.
Step 3. Notice the old story without judging it. If doubt, blankness, or "I can't picture anything" shows up, don't fight it. Just notice it. Say silently, "I see you. You learned to trust only what's already proven. Thank you. I love you. It's safe to imagine now, and my inner sight is allowed."
Step 4. Build one short scene and step into it. Choose one desire. Don't create a full movie. Create one five-second scene that would only be true if the desire were already fulfilled. Maybe someone congratulates you for something you have been working toward. Maybe you see your bank balance changed to the number of your realistic desire. Maybe you wake up in a peaceful home. Maybe your body feels strong and healthy so you go for a jog. Whatever you picture is ok. It's YOUR vision. Then step into the scene and see it through your own eyes. As you hold it, let one of these thoughts arise on each slow exhale.
- I choose my reality.
- My imagination is real.
- I trust what I see.
- I rehearse my future until it's familiar.
- My intuition guides me.
- What I picture clearly, I attract back to me.
- I see it, I feel it, so I become it.
Step 5. Feel the scene, not just the picture. After you build the scene, pause and ask, "What would I feel if this were real right now?" (Because it IS real in a different version of you) See it through your own eyes, hear what you'd hear, and let the feeling come even slightly. Maybe you smile. Maybe your body relaxes into it. Maybe it's faint. That's fine. Every time the scene feels even a little more real and familiar, the third eye is learning. That small sense of "this is already mine" is the actual work.
Step 6. Anchor it. Before you finish, take one big big breath and say, "I see from the reality I'm choosing." Then open your eyes and carry that inner picture into your day. The more often you do this, the more your mind normalizes your new reality. The more clearly you see it, the more your body comes into alignment with the frequency of vision and abundance.
Crown Chakra: Surrender, Higher Consciousness, and Divine Connection
The crown chakra is traditionally called Sahasrara. This is your Center of Divine Connection. It's an energy that is directly at and also about 2 inches above the top of your head. It's connected with the divine, unity, surrender, spiritual wisdom, higher consciousness, and transcendence.
The crown chakra is often linked with the pineal gland, though some systems pair the pineal with the third eye and the pituitary with the crown. The pineal gland, actually sits in the middle of your brain, in between your ears and is part of the endocrine system. Some people like to imagine a light connecting their pineal to the crown and shooting straight out of the top of their head.
The crown chakra matters so so much for manifestation because you stop trying to control or create and start surrendering to the universe and trusting that it is done.
- The root asks, "Is it safe to have it?"
- The sacral asks, "Do I actually want it?"
- The solar plexus asks, "Will I act on it?"
- The heart asks, "Can I feel it now?"
- The throat asks, "Can I speak it into exsitence?"
- The third eye asks, "Can I see it in my life now?"
- The crown asks, "Can I let go of the how and trust the universe?"
If you grew up believing you had to control every detail of life, manage every outcome, earn your worth, or carry everything alone, then your crown energy may feel tight and overworked. You may try to force every step of your manifestation and this will hinder your growth. You may decode every delay as a bad sign. You may feel pressure to stay positive every second, like one wrong thought will ruin it. You may struggle to trust anything bigger than your own effort.
However, letting go and surrendering is the largest part of the process. Crown chakra manifestation work begins by teaching the body that you can let go of the how. It's about feeling safe during the unknown period before you actually see it. It teaches you to trust the path. This is where prayer and manifestation meet... You stop worshiping the desire and return to connection with the divine, Source, God, your higher self, or universal intelligence, whatever name feels true to you.
A strong crown center means you can begin to feel brand new, even before anything is finished in your physical reality. "I release the how. I trust the path. I stay connected to something greater."
Crown Chakra Practice: Surrender the How
The goal here is to let your mind and body feel what it's like to be supported in the fact that you have "IT", even for a few seconds, so your nervous system learns that you don't have to control everything.
Find a quiet place to sit. Let your hands rest gently in your lap. Take a slow breath and soften the top of your head and your whole face. Then move through these steps slowly.
Step 1. Let yourself be held. Take three slow breaths. On each exhale, let go of a little of the effort you're holding in your head, shoulders, and hands. Don't grip. Let yourself feel supported by whatever is beneath you.
Step 2. Bring your attention to the top of your head. Imagine a soft white or violet light just above your head, gentle and warm, like light emanating from your pineal glad and bursting out of the top of your head, into the universe.
Step 3. Notice the old story without judging it. If pressure, control, or "if I let go it'll all fall apart" shows up, don't fight it. Just notice it. Say silently, "I see you. You carried everything so we'd be okay. Thank you. I love you. It's safe to let go now, and I'm allowed to be held."
Step 4. Breathe into the light and release the how. Bring your desire mind. Notice how it's yours. Notice how you are living this new life now. As you breathe slowly, let one of these thoughts arise on each exhale but don't recite them like a slogan. Say them slow enough that your body has time to feel even a flicker of truth in them.
- I've chosen, I've felt, and I've aligned. Now I release the how.
- Something even better than I imagined is happening to me now.
- I don't force it because I just allow it to unfold.
- I'm connected to something greater than my own effort.
- I rest knowing my desire is fulfilled.
- The path unfolded perfectly, even when I couldn't see it.
- I let go, and I let my new reality meet me.
Step 5. Feel the body, not just the words. After each thought, pause and ask, "Where do I feel that?" Maybe your head feels lighter. Maybe your hands unclench. Maybe your whole body sighs and settles. Maybe nothing yet. That's fine. Every time the body releases even slightly while thinking a trusting thought, the crown is learning. That small letting-go is the actual work.
Step 6. Anchor it. Before you finish, imagine gently handing your desire upward into the light, then say, "I release the how. I trust the path." Sit in the quiet for a few breaths. Then carry that settled, connected feeling into your day. The more often you do this, the more you feel the connection to the divine, the more your body comes into alignment with the frequency of peace and abundance.

The Aura: The Energy That Surrounds You
Kundalini is often described as a coiled spiritual energy that rests at the base of your spine, waiting. When it's stirred up during a chakra meditation, it rises up through your spinal column, moving through each chakra in turn, until it reaches the crown of your head. Picture it like a current that travels the same path you've been working with this whole time, from root to crown, lighting up each center as it climbs. Where the chakras are the rooms, kundalini is the energy that walks through them and turns the lights on as it moves up. This is awakening energy, connected with transformation, purification, deep emotional release, spiritual insight, and major shifts in how you experience yourself and the world. When it moves, you may feel like something old is being cleared out to make room for something new. That's the point of it.
As you get good at chakra meditations, you might start noticing something physically different. Some people describe it as blissful, electric, emotional, or visionary, like a wave of light moving through the body. Others describe it as overwhelming or even destabilizing, because this energy is powerful and it doesn't always rise gently. The same fire that warms a home can burn it down if it's handled carelessly, and kundalini is like that.
This is why your relationship with it begins with respect, not ambition. You don't need to chase it, force it, or try to crack it open before you're ready. The grounding you've built in your root, the emotional flow in your sacral, and the steadiness in your heart are all the wiring this energy will eventually move through. The more solid your foundation, the more safely it can rise.
So treat kundalini as sacred fire, not a party trick. Let it come in its own time, stay grounded, trust that you don't have to force the fire for it to do its work.
If kundalini is the energy that rises up through you, your aura is the energy that surrounds you. It's a subtle energy field that extends out from your body in every direction, like an atmosphere you carry with you wherever you go, with different layers connected to your physical body, your emotions, your thoughts, and your spirit.
Think of it as the energetic version of your personal space, the part of you that arrives in a room a moment before you do. You've probably already felt this, even if you've never called it an aura. Think of a time you walked into a room and could tell something was wrong before anyone said a word, or met someone and felt instantly at ease, like you'd known them for years. Or the opposite, when someone seemed perfectly nice on the surface but something about their energy made you want to keep your distance. That feeling is what people are pointing to when they talk about the aura.
You're picking up on a field, not just facts. You'll often hear it described in color, a calm person glowing soft blue, a passionate one glowing red, a heart-centered one radiating green or pink, but whether or not you ever see these colors, the deeper idea is what matters. The state you live in radiates outward. When your inner world is anxious or scattered, that's the energy you carry into your relationships, your work, and your manifestations. When it's grounded, open, and grateful, you carry that instead. Your aura is simply your inner state made into an atmosphere all around you.
This is why the chakra work you've been doing matters so much for your aura energy field. Your aura isn't separate from your chakras, it's more like the glow they give off together.
When your root is grounded, your heart is open, and your energy flows cleanly through each center, your field becomes clear and strong. When your centers are blocked or stuck in survival, your field can feel heavy, leaky, or chaotic, even if you're saying all the right affirmations.
You don't clean up your aura by decorating the outside, you clean it up by tending the centers underneath it. For manifestation, your aura is the part of you that's always broadcasting. You can want a beautiful life with your mind, but you're transmitting your actual state with your whole field, all day, whether you mean to or not.
Picture it like a radio signal. The mind chooses the station you'd like to be on, while the aura is the frequency you're actually putting out, and the whole point of this work is to close that gap, so the life you're reaching for and the energy you're radiating are finally on the same channel... the same frequency.
So treat your aura the way you'd treat the air in your home. Keep it clean. The more grounded and coherent you become on the inside, through your breath, your gratitude, and your chakra practice, the clearer your field becomes on the outside. And the clearer your field, the more naturally you draw toward you the very things you've been learning to align with.

Choose one desire. It can be about healing, love, money, work, purpose, confidence, home, family, peace, or spiritual growth.
Sit comfortably and breathe slowly. Big Deep Beautiful Breaths. Breath in to a count of 4 and out to a count of 4.
The following questions are simply guidance. Rest in the fact that you know you and you know what questions to ask yourself. If you don't, use these...
Start at the root. Ask, “Do I feel safe receiving this?” If the answer is no, say, “It's totally safe for this to come gently.”
Move to the sacral. Ask, “Do I 'really' want this, or do I only 'think' I should want it?” Let the honest answer come.
Move to the solar plexus. Ask, “What action would support this desire?” Allow one small action to appear in your mind.
Move to the heart. Ask, “Can I feel grateful before the evidence arrives?” Breathe into your heart with gratitude.
Move to the throat. Ask, “What new story should I speak?” Say one sentence out loud.
Move to the third eye. Ask, “What scene would show this desire fulfilled?” See it clearly for a few breaths.
Move to the crown. Say, “I surrender the how.” Imagine releasing the desire into the light and knowing it is already done.
End by placing both hands on the heart and saying, “I align with the reality of who I am. I love you. I love you.”
